My mom is plus-size, and to me she's always been one of the most beautiful women in the world. Especially when I was younger and I used to see her get all dressed up. She demanded attention everytime she came in a room, because she was just so beautiful! This definetly helped me out alot in accepting my larger frame. Seeing her be so gorgeous despite her size, continues to help me remember that I can be too!

I am SO SO glad that I found this page. It is sad to me that their has to ba a plus-size beauty pageant and not just an all size beauty pageant. When is the world going to wake up and realizethat beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Miss America and Miss USA should have all size woman. But reality check that probable won't happen. But this is the first step. I have always been on the plus size. And now I have a beautiful amazing step daughter that is a pageant winner. At 11 she is 5 foot 4 and wears a size 9/10. She is confident and is out there in regular pageants, winning. But, that probable won't last for long.... not in the pageant world, not in the teen divisions. I have taught her that woman are all beautiful and to let her inner beauty shine though to the outside. And she does just that. I am so very proud of her and when she is 13.... I will be looking you guys up again. BRAVO LADIES BRAVO!!!!!

well i have not mentioned it to my family, only my mom and close friends. they are all suportive of me they say," if you want to i will back you up". I dont have good self esteem what so ever I dont think im pretty. I have always been a plus size girl my whole life and feel like i dont fit in with my other cousins. The adults talk to me or my mom about my weight all the time, i feel not accepted even though i am its just the way i feel around them. I mainly want to do modeling so i can once in my life feel beautiful about myself inside and out and hopefully gain some confidence.
